A
managed website is a feature that we offer to those who have always
wanted a website, but have no idea how to create one or edit it. We
become your webmaster.
For a flat rate, one time
fee of $250 dollars (up to $450 if you are including an online store) we
will build your site. You are not stuck with some primitive template
website that we create and give you, we work hand in hand with you and
create the layout and design with the features you choose.
Managed websites are also
maintained by us at no charge to you. You are still responsible for
regular hosting fees, depending on which size hosting package you
choose.
Any security scripts that
are released are installed on your site to keep it safe and updated at
all times. This is just one of the no cost (to you) services that we
provide to keep your site up to date.
Any content additions or alterations that are pertinent to your site are also done by us at no cost to you.
You simply send in a
support ticket requesting that we add a picture here, or a product to
your store, or an article etc. and we will make the requested edits for
you.
Non pertinent additions, or
alterations such as adding chat, guest books, discussion forums,
interactive scripts, theme alterations, site add-ons or software, etc.
will be quoted a fee of $25.00 per hour.
The Starter, Intermediate, and Professional packages are all based on size.
For example the Starter
package comes with 5 gig of space, and the Professional comes
with 10 gig of space. Full package specs can be found on the
front page but basically as each package steps up it increases your
resources: storage space, bandwidth, number of allowed databases, etc.
A site that may have many
photo galleries, or a discussion forum with lots of traffic may want a
hosting package with more resources.
These are also the packages that are used for our managed sites, which are sites that we build and maintain for clients.
We
install any new versions of the software to keep your site up to date
and secure, we make any content changes or alterations, and we do any
editing that you may need, all at no cost to you.
The AdvantagePlus package is a hosting plan for those who are capable of building, uploading and maintaining their own sites.
If you use a CMS like
Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress, etc...you will also be responsible for
keeping your version of that software up to date which keeps your site
secure. The developers release newer versions and you will need to
upgrade yours in a timely fashion. If you do not your site provides an
exploit to our server and will be promptly removed.
You make all your own content changes, uploads, and editing.

What is the total cost of
having a website or how much is this going to cost for me to have a
completed professional looking website. The answer to that question will
vary depending on your needs.
We can build your site for
you, if you are unable to. There is a flat rate one time fee of $250
dollars for us to build your site, or $450 including E-commerce if you
need it. These are called Managed Sites and are maintained by us also at
no charge.
The only other expense you
would have is the purchase of a domain name (something.com) which will
cost you around $14.75 per year.
The other cost would be
your monthly hosting fees which would cost between $11.00 a month with
the Starter package to $21.95 a month for the Professional package. The
cost difference is based on how much web space you need.
