You can set up your current Gmail account to send and receive mail as your own domain mail. For example you have an email address info@yourdomain.com that you want forwarded to your Gmail account. When you reply to any email sent to that address while it's being forwarded to your Gmail address, the recipient of your reply will see the email as coming from your Gmail address and NOT your domain mail info@yourdomain.com.

Here's how to integrate Gmail with your domain mail so you can actually reply with your domain mail email address. First thing you need to do is set up the domain mail account in your Cpanel, or we can do this for you.

  1. Then... From your mobile device...Sign in to your Gmail account. Click the hamburger menu in the upper left corner. The hamburger menu is the three small stacked lines next to the search bar. Inside the menu scroll down to "Settings"
  2. Inside Settings, tap on "add account" The next screen asks what type of email account you would like to add. You'll need to choose "Other".
  3. On the next screen you type in your actual email address for the domain mail you will be using. For example, bill@tractorparts.com.and then tap on "next".
  4. Next screen asks if it's Pop3 or Imap. You'll want to select Imap.
  5. <
  6. The next screen appears and you enter your password for THAT email address and then tap on "next".
  7. Now it shows an overview of the INCOMING server settings. Everything should be set except the server name which is near the bottom. Change that to read mail.tractorparts.com ( but use your actual domain name instead of tractor parts) Please notice the period between the word mail and your domain name. And also the one between your domain name and the extension. ie net, com, etc. These must be in place exactly as they appear. for example mail(dot)tractorparts(dot)com Then tap on "next"
  8. Next screen shows an overview of the OUTGOING server settings. Everything should be set again except the server name which is near the bottom. Change that to read mail.tractorparts.com ( but again use your actual domain name instead of tractor parts) Please notice the period between the word mail and your domain name. And also the one between your domain name and the extension. ie net, com, etc. These must be in place exactly as they appear. for example mail(dot)tractorparts(dot)com Then tap on "next".

It should verify and confirm. you are finished.

Now when you access your Gmail you'll see two different accounts. One for your regular Gmail and one for your newly added domain mail. You can send and receive from both in one place.

If your mobile device requires manual set up and you need additional protocols, port numbers etc, Please contact us via support ticket and we'll be happy to provide those.
